Cookie Policy

1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by the websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember you between visits, and to provide information to the website operator. We use the broader term “cookies and similar technologies” to also cover localStorage and sessionStorage, which work in the same way.
2. Cookies we set
We keep cookie use to a minimum. Today we only set strictly necessary cookies and a single first-party preference value for this banner. We do not use third-party advertising cookies and we do not run third-party analytics on the marketing site.
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AuthToken | Keeps you signed in. Set by Firebase Authentication via our proxy. | HTTP cookie, signed and httpOnly | Session / up to 14 days | Strictly necessary |
| brandrna.cookie-consent.v1 | Remembers that you dismissed the cookie banner. | localStorage | Until you clear your browser storage | Strictly necessary |
We may add analytics or product-improvement cookies in the future (for example, PostHog for funnel analysis). When we do, we will update this policy and only set them after we have your consent via the cookie banner.
3. Categories explained
- Strictly necessary — required for the Service to function (signed-in sessions, abuse protection). These are set without consent because the Service cannot work without them.
- Functional — remember preferences (theme, banner dismissals).
- Analytics — help us understand how the Service is used (none currently active).
- Marketing / advertising— used to show or measure ads (we don't use any).
4. How to manage cookies
5. Changes
We will update this page if our cookie use changes. The “last updated” date reflects the most recent change.
